There are many types of graphite rings produced by graphite ring manufacturers, such as graphite sealing rings, graphite packing rings, etc. Graphite mechanical seal rings are mainly used for sealing mechanical rotating parts. Carbon graphite rings have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance.

The carbon graphite materials used for graphite mechanical seal rings are roughly divided into the following categories:

1. Roasted graphite, which is divided into hard carbon graphite and soft electrochemical graphite. They are made by mixing petroleum carbon black and oil fume carbon black with tar, asphalt, etc., crushing and pressing them into green bodies, and roasting them at high temperatures.

2. Resin bonded graphite, which is made by crushing sintered graphite, using phenolic resin or epoxy resin as binders, mixing them, and pressing and sintering them into products. The resin in the matrix becomes carbon particles after sintering, making it an impermeable graphite.

3. Pyrolytic graphite, domestically produced pyrolytic graphite is made by pyrolyzing hydrocarbons such as propylene at high temperatures, allowing carbon vapor to penetrate into the pores of the carbon graphite body, playing a role in blocking the pores, forming a high-density, low porosity, and low permeability pure carbon graphite material.

The use and maintenance of graphite ring products such as graphite rings and graphite hexagonal rings:

If the graphite ring is damaged or the cast aluminum rod has a rough surface without obstruction in the waterway, the graphite ring must be replaced.

1. Loosen the four bolts of the crystallizer and remove it from the mold platform.

2. Remove three O-ring seals and use a special tool to unscrew the pressure ring to remove the adapter plate.

3. Loosen the two hexagonal bolts of the crystallizer and divide it into two pieces. Pay attention to removing the O-ring between the two molds.

4. On a small rotating table, invert and rotate the upper ring of the crystallizer, and heat the crystallizer with a liquefied petroleum gas gun until the graphite ring falls off.

5. Place the upper ring of the crystallizer and install a new graphite ring, paying attention to adding small amounts of material to press the graphite ring. Apply lard once when the graphite ring is hot.

6. After natural cooling, replace all materials and clean thoroughly, paying attention to the small O-ring and its position, and aligning the overflow hole.
